How Can stabbing Anal Pain be Treated?

I had pain like pressing on bruised skin on the top right corner of anus starting areound two months ago. Then the pain extended to the right side of anus and on anus. The pain became sharp like point of knife running through skin. Sharp n short. Lately all pain fells like stabbing type of pain. I feel the pain when I about to sit Down and stand up. When I bend forward and backward. And when I walk sometimes. Through out the past two months I also have been experiencing swelling and burning pain on a couple of external hemorrhoids. I wonder if all the stabbing pain is due to the hemorrhoids. I am post manapausal and the hydrocortisone cream I m using for hemorrhoids seems helping but the stabbing pain remain the same

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids.

I recommend using anti hemorrhoids cream for local application.

I also recommend soaking in warm water for several minutes for relief.

You should eat a fiber-rich diet to avoid constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
